The abstract floral punch needle kit is punched using entirely flat punch needle stitches on the finished side of the hoop. The smooth, flat stitches make it easier for beginners to create a neat finish with punch needle. The finished size of the hoop will be 13 cm, small enough to be hung by it's metal clasp or propped on a shelf.

There's a handy video tutorial which shows you how to prepare your fabric in the hoop and create the flat stitches. The modern punch needle kit is suitable for beginners with no prior punch needle experience. The kit contains detailed printed instructions with step-by-step photos which take you through everything from securing the fabric in the hoop to threading and using the punch needle. Use the printed instructions as a handy beginners guide to refer back to each time you punch.

The kit includes 100% non-mercerized cotton yarn which is a great option for those who do not want to use a yarn including animal products or for those with sensitive skin. The cotton yarn is made in the EU and is Oeko-Tex® certified.

You'll need strong glue to prepare the fabric in the hoop before starting on your project and a pen to draw your design on. It's handy to have some embroidery scissors to hand for snipping yarn ends.
